Obviously the sound driver appears to be the most apparent malfunction here. Press F2 to run setup. I’m not sure if this helps or not, but I did notice Windows ran smoother in safe mode, no significant lag.

However, I’m afraid that when I do, I’ll still eventually end up with the same problem again Like I said, I’ve tried downloading the drivers from the motherboard’s manufacturer site, which provided drivers for all components, sound, video, mb, hd, etc. This problem has been plaguing this computer for some time now. That was the whole point of suggesting k8nf4g-fsta hop into Safe Mode: Press F1 to load default values.
