A BusID given in lspci as Configuring Xorg for use with Intel i and higher video cards. It is more up to date, has similar configuration settings, and, most importantly, you do not need the i tool anymore. Identifier should not be changed.

If you have an Intel graphics card and an older version of Ubuntu then this page is for you. Configuring Xorg for use with Intel i and higher video cards I’ve seen a lot of people having issues with integrated Intel video i801.

Some of these drivers have not yet been written or included in the intel driver, thus while everything else may work fine, TV out may not be supported depending on the encoder chip paired with your graphics chip.
You can refer to your monitor’s documentation to find them. Horiz Sync and Vert Refresh options are often not necessary. I post some threads about this issue a couple weeks ago.

It didn’t seem to immediately fix anything, but as far as I know it might have been part of what fixed the problem later.
Please note that this driver does not support the GMAfound in various Atom-based designs.
