I check audio props and no sound is muted, and i made sure speakers worked correctly i installed a very old soundblaster live soundcard, and i had sound, but it was a little bit crappy, so i want onboard 939dual-satw2 to work Thanks for the tips.
Are you using the bottom center audio port? It simply does not sound. Yeah, it’s enabled in BIOS.
It must be noted that after this installation and subsequent rebooting, the onboard audio wan’t recognised in windows – installed drivers downloaded from asrock web AMD cool n quiet driver, serial ata driver, serial ata 2 driver – Then I tried unninstalling uli’s audio drivers, and 939dula-sata2 realtek driver available at asrocks web.
